Lengthy...
Question: Children of the Most High God, we love to say Pray Pray Pray....there is a time for prayer and a time for action...why was prayer allowed to be taken out of schools, but we were praying...after praying we should have been raising our voice in unity and getting laws change for the Kingdom of God.
Why is it that every religion is respected in America but Christianity, a country that says "In God We Trust", in what God does America trust? But we're praying and yet Satan is getting stronger everyday...
could it be that we can't even come into agreement in what we're praying about to invoke change, could it be that a time for action has come upon us and we're still praying, could it be we are saying that we are praying because that is all that is expected of the Church and it make us look Godly/Holy.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much, if all this prayer is going on, where is the change?
We are in this world but not of this world, we belong to the Kingdom of God which is not of this world, that's why as Disciples of Christ we have been given authority and power to move in His stead here on earth to bring Heaven to Earth by invoking change in the Name of Jesus.
We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
Matthew 5:13-16 (KJV)
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Faith without works is dead, not faith without prayer is dead.
Child of God, Stay Prayed Up so you won't miss the time for action to invoke change for the Kingdom of God.
This is more than about an Election, this is about the missed opportunities through the years the Children of the Most High God did not unify for change and bring Heaven to Earth in the Name of Jesus.
Yes, pray for our Government all the time, I hope you didn't just start because of the election results....if so, 1st Major mistake.
When Jesus showed action in the Temple, that wasn't the time to go and pray, he was already prayed up because he had a prayer life, therefore he knew how to discern right from wrong and dealt with it, then he was able to get back to fulfilling the purpose for the temple.

11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
