PROCLAMATION TO THE STATE AND CITIZENS OF ALABAMA (AL-ABAMA)
Greetings,
Due to the fact that September 26th, marks our yearly observance of the organizing of the MOORISH SCIENCE TEMPLE OF AMERICA in the great State of Alabama(AL-Abama), we deem it appropriate and necessary to proclaim and declare our presence as Moorish American Moslems, and Free National Citizens residing and operating by the laws of said State and our local municipalities.
The MOORISH SCIENCE TEMPLE OF AMERICA was founded in 1913 by the Holy Prophet Noble Drew Ali. We incorporated as a Religious Corporation in 1928, under the Laws of the Illinois Religious Corporation Act of 1872(805 ILCS 110) and Religious Corporation Validation Act(805 ILCS 115). This gives us the Religious Right to operate in all 50 States etc. of the U.S. of America, which is preserved and protected by the U.S. government via the Constitution of the United States of America.
The M.S.T.of A derives its power and authority from the Great Koran of Mohammed to propogate the faith, and extend the learning and the truth of the Great Prophet of Ali, in America. To anoint, appoint, and consecrate missionaries of the Prophet and to establish the faith of Mohammed in America.
The MOORISH SCIENCE TEMPLE OF AMERICA is dramatically involved in the great program of uplifting fallen humanity, and has been consistently teaching those things necessary to make our people better Citizens of this beloved Nation. We take pride in our Citizenship, and patronage in the founding principles of our beloved Nation.
The Moorish Americans are decendants of Moroccans born in America. We are Moslems, and observe Friday as our Holy Day of Rest, just as all other Moslems throughout the World. We are teaching our people their Nationality and Divine Creed, that they may know that they are part and a partial of this said government, and know that they are not Negroes, Colored Folks, Black People, or Ethiopians, because these names were given to slaves by slave holders in 1779 and lasted until 1865 during the time of slavery; but this is a new era of time now, and all men now must proclaim their free national name to be recognized by the government in which they live and the nations of the earth.
We began to meet in Birmingham, Alabama September 26th, 2014. Since then we have been promoting obedience to Law, education, economic security, and outstanding moral character and social duties among our Members as well as the other Citizens of our respective municipalities. We govern ourselves by our Divine principles of Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom, and Justice. We aim to better the conditions of our people in the State and abroad, as well as doing our part in seeing that the United States of America blossoms into the prosperous and liberating Nation that all of our Forefathers fashioned it to be.
We give thanks to you all for doing your part in preserving the principles of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness among all American Citizens, regardless of their Religion and Ethnicity. God bless you all.
