Praise the Lord, another container is on its way to the mission field in Thailand for Bro Curtis Hall and BEST Missions. This container was filled not only with copies of John and Romans, but also with whole Bibles in several languages and gospel tracts in multiple languages.
The semi-truck that arrived for the loading was unique. The cab was covered with painted handprints and displayed the words “Trucking for a Cause.” Sam had the opportunity to visit with the driver for a few minutes and discovered that he was not only a Christian, but that his wife is Samoan. Sam was able to share that he had spent time in Samoa as a missionary kid. The driver was so excited that he immediately called his wife to tell her all about it.
It has been amazing to see the truck drivers God has placed in our path through the years as we load these containers. Many of them have been fellow believers, but we have also had the privilege of leading four truck drivers to the Lord. Others have provided opportunities to plant seeds. One driver, a Muslim man, was not very pleased when he discovered what we were loading. Yet God knows all about that encounter, and only eternity will reveal what became of the seeds that were planted that day.
It is always a blessing to load the containers and see the Scriptures headed to the mission field. However, we sometimes forget all that takes place before those Scriptures ever arrive. There are the hearts God has burdened to give toward the printing of His Word. There are the hands that have labored to prepare and package the Scriptures. There are the faithful prayers lifted up for souls to be saved and lives to be changed. There are those who have worked diligently to load the containers, and ladies who tirelessly provide delicious meals for the workers. There are even truck drivers who have been witnessed to, led to Christ, or who have volunteered to help with the loading themselves.
The Scriptures touch many lives in many different ways. From those who give, pray, print, package, and load, to those who transport and ultimately receive God's Word, every step of the journey is an opportunity for the Lord to work in hearts. What a blessing it is to have a small part in seeing His Word carried around the world.
We also loaded 100,000 English, Thai, and Yoruba (for Nigeria) on several trucks and trailers for Seedline churches to take home with them to work towards our next container shipments.
Continue praying for the printing ministry that many will come to know the Lord through the reading of His Word.
