With prayer and the laying on of hands, we stood alongside those being affirmed, ordained, and commissioned for the work of ministry.

We recognized the calling of God and the faithful service already evident in their lives.

May they continue to walk worthy of that calling with humility, integrity, and love.

Sunday at The Hub, we continued our healing series with a reminder to place our faith in God’s power, wisdom, and goodness.

The teaching challenged us to examine how we see God, how we see ourselves, and what we speak. Through the woman’s encounter with Jesus in Mark 5, we explored faith and our identity in Christ.

We were also reminded that simple prayers, partnered with God’s Word and faith, are powerful. We can come to God without lengthy words or a particular atmosphere.

Tonight, we close out our journey through the Book of Colossians with Week 4: Relationships & Final Instructions, reading Colossians 4:1–18.

We’ll look at Paul’s final instructions concerning prayer, sharing the Gospel, how we interact with others, and the importance of community and partnership in ministry.

Take some time to read Colossians 4:1–18 before we gather, and come ready to share what the Holy Spirit has revealed to you.
