Just a reminder for Sunday, May 31st — it’s Fellowship Sunday! After the one service we’ll all hang around for a potluck.

We’re expecting a bigger crowd than usual as we celebrate our grads and welcome their family and friends, so please plan accordingly and bring plenty to share.

We’ll have space indoors and outside to hang out. If you’re outside, feel free to bring chairs, blankets, or a pop-up tent to stay comfortable.

Don’t forget—Graduate Sunday is coming up on May 31st!

We’re excited to honor our high school and college graduates during our one combined service at 9:15 AM. If you have a graduate you’d like to be recognized, please be sure to sign them up online soon so we can make plans to celebrate them well.

Last Friday, HVBC had the opportunity to be part of Buckhorn FCA Night alongside students, parents, volunteers, local churches, and so many others from the Buckhorn community. It was a night full of food, games, worship, and God’s Word.

It was especially encouraging to hear how FCA has grown from a small core group of 9 students into a weekly gathering of 90–110 kids every Friday morning. Seeing that many students choose to start their Fridays centered on Christ is something worth celebrating. God is moving in this next generation, and we’re thankful to see young people boldly gathering around the Gospel.

Praying the Lord continues to use FCA, local churches, and faithful volunteers to reach students and point them to Christ.

A praying church is a powerful church — not because of who we are, but because of who God is. Prayer reminds us where our strength comes from and keeps our hearts dependent on Him.

What a gift this past Sunday was at Hope Valley. We spent the morning celebrating the moms in our church family with Muffins with Mom, worshipping together, and sitting under the truth of God’s Word.

We’re thankful for every conversation, every prayer, every hug in the hallway, and every reminder that the Church is more than a place we attend — it’s a family brought together by God.
