🙏🏼 Interested in Learning More About the United Methodist Church in East Ohio? 🙏🏼

If you'd like to learn more about the work being done throughout the East Ohio Conference, we encourage you to watch the recap sessions from this year's Annual Conference, held Thursday through Saturday.

These sessions provide a wonderful look at how God is moving through churches and communities across our conference.

If you feel God calling you to serve, lead, or become more involved in the life of the church, we encourage you to prayerfully consider that calling. The 2027 East Ohio Annual Conference will take place during the second weekend of June.

If you are interested in learning more or feel called to explore opportunities for service and leadership, please reach out to Pastor Karen. We would love to support you as you discern where God is leading you. ❤️

He Is Risen — And the Invitation Is Still Open ✝️

Just because the Easter season has passed doesn’t mean the celebration is over. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is something we carry with us every day.

As the angel said at the empty tomb:
"Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." (Matthew 28:5–6)

This message is still alive today—and this is your invitation to be part of our church family. If you feel God calling you, we welcome you with open hearts.

You will never regret dedicating your life to Jesus Christ and walking in faith alongside others who seek to follow Him. Come grow, worship, and celebrate the risen Lord with us.

🌟 Celebrating Our Calling 🌟

As we continue celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the calling He has placed before us: “Go and make disciples of all nations.” This mission continues to guide the heart of Lighthouse UMC as we seek to share Christ’s love with our community and the world. ✝️

God calls each of us in different ways—to serve, to lead, to care for others, and to step forward when there is a need. If there is something God has placed on your heart—a mission, outreach, or way to serve—we encourage you to listen to that voice.

At Lighthouse UMC, we believe ministry happens when people faithfully respond to God’s calling. If you feel led to start or support a mission, please reach out to Pastor Karen or a member of our church family. Together, we can continue sharing the hope and joy of the risen Christ. ❤️

Thank You for Helping Us Make a Difference

As we continue in May, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported our “Trick or Treat — So Others Can Eat” initiative and helped make donations possible for the local food cupboard! 🥫❤️ Your generosity and support truly make a difference.

We are so grateful for everyone who continues to give and support neighbors in our community. Because of you, lives are being impacted in meaningful ways each and every month.
This mission continues, and we will keep collecting donations to help those in need. Thank you for being part of something so important!

Please don't forget to bring one jar of jelly and one can of peanut butter, as we help support the summer lunches for local students in the area!

💜 Making a Difference Together 💜

This past Sunday, we continued collecting $10 donations in support of the Harriet Tubman Mission, with 100% of proceeds going toward helping free victims of human trafficking and supporting ten families.

Let’s keep the momentum going—every donation brings us one step closer to making an even greater impact. If you would like to contribute, we are still accepting donations and would be so grateful for your support in this important mission.
