Another great week of serving God’s people at Chesapeake Cares Food Pantry.

The incredible volunteers distributed over 15,000 pounds of nonperishable items and fresh produce. And they do it with kindness, respect and food without judgment.

If you want to make a difference and volunteer, reach out to us at [email protected] or leave a voicemail at 410-257-3444.

Today we celebrated all that God has done at Chesapeake Cares Food Pantry over the past 25 years.

Thank you to the community partners and everyone who came out to share this milestone.

As the Food Pantry enters our busiest time of year, we are requesting donations of your plastic and brown grocery bags.

Over 15,000 pounds of food and household goods are packed every week and those bags are instrumental in a smooth distribution of goods.

Bags can be dropped off at your convenience anytime. There are 2 large brown bins located on the load dock side of the building.

In addition, these bins are for nonperishable donated food items. Please refrain from placing perishable items or produce in these bins.

You are invited to join in our festivities on September 19 as we celebrate 25 Years of Caring and Community!
