Parents/Guardians: We have had multiple questions about what students should bring to school. These are just a few recommendations or suggestions that have been discussed. However, HEMS will provide all necessary learning materials and supplies for students to be successful in the learning environment; therefore, there is no need to purchase everything listed, unless your child prefers to have their own materials. Your child will not go without any supplies while attending HEMS 🎨🖍️✏️✂️📚📓🎒

🎨💥 End of Summer Teen Paint War! 💥🎨

Teens, get ready to make a splash before school starts! We're wrapping up summer with an epic paint war + tie-dye party — and you're invited! 🙌

📅 Date: Wednesday, August 6th, 2025
📍 Session 1: Altizer Park – 5:00 PM
📍 Session 2: Harveytown Park – 7:30 PM
(Choose the session closest to your neighborhood!)

👕 What to Bring:
An old white shirt you want to revive with color – we’ll handle the rest!

🎯 What to Expect:
Participants will bring an old white shirt to upcycle using colorful, washable tie-dye — applied in a fun and interactive way using water guns. It’s a safe, supervised event designed to encourage creativity, self-expression, and a little end-of-summer fun with friends.
