Will your witness today be worthy of Christ?

Faith needs to be not only professed but to be lived as well. Will others know how much you love Jesus by your witness or will you leave them unmoved?

"People who say that we priests are lonely are either lying or have got it all wrong. We are far less lonely than anyone else, for we can count on the constant company of the Lord, with whom we should be conversing without interruption. We are in love with Love, with the Author of Love!”
St. Josemaria Escriva

Pope Francis calls for today, Ash Wednesday, to be a Day of Fasting for Peace.

"I would like to appeal to everyone, believers and non-believers alike. Jesus taught us that the diabolical senselessness of violence is answered with God’s weapons, with prayer and fasting. I invite everyone to make next 2 March, Ash Wednesday, a Day of Fasting for Peace. I encourage believers in a special way to dedicate themselves intensely to prayer and fasting on that day. May the Queen of Peace preserve the world from the madness of war." - Pope Francis, Vatican, Feb 23, 2022

Russian soldiers killed an Orthodox military chaplain, Maksym Anatolyovych Kozachyn, while leaving a village in the Kyiv region. They did not allow the priest's body to be taken away to be buried.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. O Lord, your sorrowing Mother stood by your cross; help us in our sorrows to share your sufferings.
