Schauna's final youth group meeting was one for the books! She went all out and created a full-on, church-wide game of Among Us! 🕹️ Watching them sprint through the halls on "tasks" was the perfect way to send her off.

Thank you for pouring all your love into these kids, Schauna. Your energy, heart, and willingness to be a little goofy with them made this group something special. You'll be missed, to say the least!! 💛

🐿️ Celebrating Schauna! 🐿️

This Sunday, August 30, is a bittersweet one for our church family - it's Schauna's last day with us after an incredible 10 years here at First UMC!

For a decade, Schauna has poured her heart, humor, and whole goofball-squirrel energy into loving and shepherding our youth. She's leaving a legacy of laughter, faith, and countless kids who feel a little more seen and a lot more loved because of her.

Join us as we send her off with the celebration she deserves:

🙏 10:45am — Worship Service, with Schauna leading and preaching
🍽️ 12:00pm — Celebration Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall

Come hug her, share a memory, and thank her for everything she's given our church over the years. We love you, Schauna — you'll be so missed!

The back-to-school tailgate went so well! The weather was perfect, the food was tasty, the kids were wild, and Schauna and Katrina got dunked SO many times! Everybody had a wonderful time!

Join us this Sunday, August 23, for a very special music worship service with St. Paul Lutheran Church!
We will be hosting St. Paul Lutheran here at First UMC for a communal worship service at 10:45am. After the service, around 11:45am/noon, we will have cookies and punch in the Fellowship Hall. We cannot wait to worship together and celebrate our Lord.

Tonight's the night! Join us for our back-to-school tailgate starting at 5:00 pm!

We will have a water slide, inflatables, a dunk tank, co****le, tailgate food, homemade ice cream, and more!

Make sure you bring or wear clothes you don't mind getting wet, and don't forget to bring a folding/camp chair!

Rain or shine, we will be here having loads of fun!
