Help us get ready for VBS!

Join us for our VBS Work Day on Wednesday, June 3, from 8 AM–6 PM as we prepare for Rainforest Falls. Whether you’re handy with crafts, decorating, organizing supplies, or helping with setup, there’s something for everyone to do.

Come for the whole day or just a few hours. Every helping hand makes a difference! Lunch and snacks will be provided. Let’s work together to create an amazing week for our kids!

Adventure is waiting at Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School! Register now at HNAZ.org/VBS!

June 8–11
6:00–8:30 PM
For kids age 4 (by June 1) - 5th grade

This summer, kids are invited to step into a rainforest adventure where they’ll worship, play, learn, and grow together as they discover who God is.

Through each part of the week, children will be reminded that God is their Creator, their safe place, and the One who helps them stand strong through every storm.

This Sunday, we hear the risen Jesus speak to His disciples in Matthew 28:16–20.

Some worshiped. Some doubted. Still, Jesus came near. He declared His authority, sent His followers to make disciples, and promised, “Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Join us as we worship Christ, hear His call, and remember that disciples are made as we follow Jesus together.

This week was our final meeting with our Worship Arts Intern, Carly Mattox!

Carly has served with joy, creativity, and a deep love for the Church. We are so thankful for the ways she has grown, led, and invested in our church community throughout this last year.

We ended our time together by surrounding Carly in prayer and affirming the calling God has placed on her life and ministry.

We believe in Carly, and even more, we believe in the God who has called her. The Church needs leaders like her, and we cannot wait to see how God continues to use her in ministry!

This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday!

Psalm 104 reminds us that the Spirit of God is the breath of all creation: “When you send forth your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.” Psalm 104:30

On Pentecost, we remember that this same Spirit was poured out on the church, filling ordinary people with the presence and power of God to bear witness to Jesus. The Spirit who gives life to creation is the Spirit who renews us, forms us, and sends us into the world with the good news of Christ.

Join us this Sunday as we worship the God who creates, sustains, and renews by the gift of the Holy Spirit.

This Sunday will be a Family Worship Service!

A few times throughout the year, we intentionally worship together across generations because children are not just the future of the church, they are part of the church right now. When our kids are present in worship, they learn the rhythms of prayer, Scripture, singing, and the gathered life of God’s people. And as a church family, we receive the gift of hearing their voices, seeing their faith, and remembering that worship forms all of us together.

Sunday School will still meet at 9:15 AM for all ages.

We know family worship can feel a little different, so we will have specific Praise Packs available to help children and families engage and participate throughout the service.

Nursery will still be available for children 2 and under.

This Sunday, we will come to the Lord’s Table together.

As we celebrate Pentecost, we remember that the Spirit forms us into one body. Communion is not only a moment of remembrance, but a shared act of receiving grace together. At the Table, Christ gathers us, nourishes us, and reminds us that we belong to him and to one another.

We come with empty hands and open hearts, trusting that the same Spirit who gave birth to the church is still making us holy, renewing our love, and sending us as witnesses of Jesus in the world.
