Its good to have friends in the gospel!
We held a CLF Pastors & Church Leaders meeting before the Tabernacle Encounter in Phoenix. Longtime friend of CLF, Pastor Reginald Steele of Kingdom Church welcomed the pastors and opened the meeting with a prayer. Then, Pastor Yoeng Kook Park, the president of CLF, shared the word for the meeting.
Using Isaiah 55:7–10, Pastor Park explained the difference between human thoughts and the word of God. He shared that while human thoughts remain confined within circumstances and experiences, God’s word will certainly accomplish the purpose for which He sent it and will not return void.
He then explained the meaning of the Day of Atonement, sharing through Hebrews 10 that Jesus Christ accomplished eternal redemption once for all. Emphasizing the truth that "their sins and iniquities will I remember no more," he stressed that because the forgiveness of sins has been completed by the blood of Jesus, there is no longer any offering required for sin.
Toward the end of the message, he shared the core of the gospel through 2 Corinthians 5:21, stating that Jesus became sin because He took upon Himself our sins, and we became the righteousness of God in Him because we received the righteousness of Jesus.
