Happy Pride Month!

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the 1976 General Convention resolution stating that LGBTQ+ people have a full and equal claim to the pastoral care and support of The Episcopal Church. As we celebrate this milestone, we also celebrate and stand in solidarity with our beloved LGBTQ+ siblings, whose lives and whose witness enrich our churches and the Body of Christ.

Yesterday marked Father Greg's 3 year anniversary of his installation at St. John's! Father Greg (and his family) feel so fortunate to have been selected to serve this parish. Here's to many more years!

“No one has a right to sit down and feel hopeless. There is too much work to do." -Dorothy Day

Everything is getting more expensive and more people are relying on food pantry’s to feed their kids and themselves. Our outreach ministries have always been an important focus of our worship. If you can afford it, please remember to grab a few cans during grocery shopping this week. Cridlin is requesting cans of pasta (like Chef Boyardee). We have 15 days left.
