I heard this today and it’s something that really struck a chord with me and in posting it I hope it helps someone in need of this advice…

We need to accept apologies that we never receive because you cannot fix yourself by breaking someone else. In the words of Buddha, “Resentment is like drinking poison and expecting the other person you resent to die”

Thinking negative thoughts about others only harms the way YOU think. Internal healing will rectify external circumstance

Forgiveness does not prevent the behavior, but it does prevent the behavior from negatively affecting us

Our ego wants us to put other people in their place but what we should all strive to do is to try and put ourselves in their place.

So yesterday I am just casually going about my day when I receive a call from a bride in need. Their marriage license was about to expire and they needed someone to marry them that day. The woman referred to herself as Mary. So, I made arrangements to meet Mary and her fiancé, Bob, at their apt. in NYC after I finished my day’s work at my 9 – 5 job.
I get to the apartment and I vaguely recognize Mary and proceed to do their quick ceremony and we sit down to sign the appropriate paperwork.

It was then when I had asked her if I may have seen her in anything she had done. She looks at me and asks, “Have you ever seen Ace Ventura: Pet Detective”? I replied that I have. She says, “I played, Einhorn”. I reply back, “Finkel = Einhorn” and we all had a lot of laughs

Yes, Sean Young who I learned is really Mary Sean Young.

Of all the decisions we made regarding our various vendors and services, choosing Keith to be our officiant was probably one of the easiest and best decisions we made. Keith was personable, easy to talk to and created a beautiful ceremony that our family and friends are still talking about. Keith shared a moment with each of us the morning of our wedding and put our minds at ease and took so much stress away. He is professional, yet dealing with him felt like we were speaking with an old friend. We knew from the first conversation that we were in good hands and we were confident in our choice to work with Keith.
