🚨 We're going for it.
The next two weeks matter for ACT for ALS. Congress just changed its calendar—and that means we have a narrow window to pass ACT for ALS ahead of its 9/30 deadline.
Here's the honest truth: this is a long shot. ACT for ALS is already set to move as part of an end-of-year health package, and that path is real and likely to succeed. But our community has waited long enough. We're not settling for eventually when now is possible.
So right now, tell Congress that ACT for ALS should pass in September, not December.
If ACT for ALS doesn't happen this month, we still have a path. The end-of-year healthcare package is a safety net. But we have to try for now!

When Deb Winters was asked what bible verse has carried her through her ALS journey, she stated, "My life verse for the last 25 years has been Hebrews 12.1-4. That has applied to living with ALS as well." 🙏
ALS is heavy, but we serve a God who sent His Son to die on a cross, so we may not grow weary or fainthearted. 💝 We are so thankful for His new mercies each and every morning. This ALS journey has been possible because of His love, mercy, and HOPE!
