Last week our students stood with Israel on the other side of the Red Sea, celebrating a God who had heard, remembered, seen, known, saved, and led His people.
But getting out of Egypt was only the beginning.
Tonight we continue the journey into the wilderness, where Israel will begin learning what it means to trust the God who rescued them when the road ahead becomes difficult. These familiar stories give us another opportunity to slow down, look beyond simply “what happened,” and ask a more important question:
What is God showing His people about who He is?
Join us this evening at Norway Avenue Church of Christ 6pm

On Sunday nights, our students have been walking through the story of Exodus, from Israel’s slavery in Egypt through the Passover and now the crossing of the Red Sea. One of our goals with this study has been to take some of the familiar “Bible school stories” our students may already know and slow down enough to discover the details they may have missed and, even more importantly, the truths those stories reveal about God. We’ve reminded them that this isn’t simply a study of events that happened long ago—it’s about who God showed Himself to be to His people and who He promised to be for each student.

Along the way, we’ve watched God hear His people, remember His promises, see their need, know their suffering, save them, and lead them (Exodus 2:23-25). Tonight, as we reached the Red Sea and the song of Moses and Miriam in Exodus 15, we encouraged students not only to recognize God’s faithfulness but to stop and praise Him when they see it in their own lives.

Parents, you can help reinforce this at home by asking your student, “Where have you seen God’s faithfulness lately?” and then taking a moment to thank Him together. We want our students to learn not only to cry out to God when they need Him, but also to remember and celebrate who He has shown Himself to be.

If you are a middle or high school student, NuWaVe meets Sundays at 6pm at Norway Avenue Church of Christ. We hope to see you there. You are important! You are not alone! You are loved!

I cannot wait!!!

Therefore...

Anytime you see that word it is referencing everything you’ve heard before and pointing you to the next step.⏭️ This year at TCTC, we want to explore those steps. In light of what we’ve heard (from the Bible), what action is God calling us to next?

We have an incredible lineup to help us unpack this. 📖Jeff Walling and Eric Epperson will be our teachers. Tega 🎤 will be joining us again as our MC and bringing her unique spoken word talents.

The Aaron Pelsue Band will be our worship leaders throughout the weekend. 🎶This year will have TWO concerts🎶: Friday night with Careb & John and Blessing Offor will be joining us on Saturday. This year will be EPIC!!

📌Registration opens Aug 15th!! 📌
