Update on Shelly Maxwell James written by Shelly: I've truly been blessed by no many people that I never imagined would contact me and be by my side through all of this. Friends from high school havereached out to me. Past coworkers have reached out. I'm truly in awe. I met new friends through this journey. Some I’ve met online only and one in particular who had been such a blessing to me. She messages me every day and ask how I am or just sends words of encouragement. She is Brenda Paynter. God continues to use this woman even through her own struggles.

I had my last two chemo treatments on
April 12th and May 3rd, 2023. The nurses At Parkview Cancer Institute are amazing. They go above and beyond. Everyone there was amazingbut without God in my lifeand meeting people whoare caring Christians,
I would have been so lost. It's kind of bitter
sweet that I’m done with chemo because
On one hand I’ve crossed one hurdle but
I'll miss all the sweetfaces and kindness.
Next comes radiation that will start on
June 1st. I also have to see a heart doctor.

Meet Shelly Maxwell James

Shelly found out in January, 2023 that she has breast cancer. The type of cancer she has is a fast growing and aggressive cancer.

Recently Shelly started losing her hair. It was very devastating. She decided to go ahead and have her hair cut.

In support of Shelly her husband, Randy, had his hair cut.

Shelly wants to thank all of the ladies at Angel Hugs Ministry for what they are doing to help those in need.

She has 4 more chemotherapy treatments and then she has 5-6 weeks of daily radiation treatments. Follow us with updates.

Angel Hugs Ministry, is a ladies group that make chemo hats, afghans and prayer
shawls. They are prayed over before they are given out. There is never a cost to anyone.
