The Women’s Ministry is getting together for a Fall Backyard Cookout, and we’d love for you to join us! Come enjoy some good food, great conversation, and a fun evening together.

Because of the generosity of so many donations, The Highlawn Community Alliance, Mountain Care Network, Still Waters Coffee, Faith Health Appalachia, Healthy Kids meals and the MANY volunteers (you know who you are!) who helped organize our SIXTH annual community giveaway was a great success. We are estimating 250-300 people came through our doors and we were able to bless so many families! It is very time-consuming to prepare for something like this, but it’s so worth it on the day of the event. Seeing so many from our church family there greeting, assisting, helping take down tables, clean up, load up what was left and giving of their time is what serving others is all about!  We are already thinking of ways to make next year even better!

TOMORROW! We have so much stuff to give a way! This is for everyone! There are clothes for all ages, backpacks, toys, games, books, puzzles, household decor, kitchen and much more. Still Waters Coffee Co., Healthy Kids Meals, Mountain Care Network, Faith Health Appalachia and free donuts from Camden Corner! Please make plans to stop by and invite others!

A big thank you to the Marshall football players Toby Payne, Shawn Rouse, Tony Martin and their student coach Austin who came to help load and unload 2 truckloads of stuff from my carport for the community give a way this Saturday! Thanks to Coach Brewer for volunteering them 😊

Join us on Saturday, September 26, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM for our Write the Word Workshop & Brunch hosted by the Women’s Ministry of Huntington First Church of the Nazarene!

We’re excited to welcome Laura Macfarlan from Cross My Heart Ministry as our special guest teacher. She’ll inspire and encourage us as we learn a simple, meaningful way to spend time in God’s Word by writing just one verse a day.

Your $10 registration includes brunch, a FREE journal and bookmark with a month’s worth of verses, plus door prizes and a wonderful morning of fellowship and encouragement.
