Our Big Giveaway is only 9 weeks away! We’re excited to serve our community through this amazing outreach project, but we can’t do it without your help. Every donation, prayer, and helping hand makes a difference. Let’s come together and bless families in our community — we need you!

Did you know there are 600–700 NICU admissions each year at Cabell Huntington Hospital?

Scent hearts help bridge the gap while babies are in the NICU. A parent’s familiar scent can comfort and calm their infant, helping stabilize heart rate and breathing while reducing stress and pain responses.

HF ladies ministry has made and donated several hundred of these as well as some isolette covers. It is an ongoing need. We need people to cut out the hearts, sew the hearts then wash them ready to go to the NICU. If you can help with any of these steps please let us know! We have several kits ready to hand out and we have plenty of material to make more!

HF Family & Community: We need your help with our 6th Annual FREE Community Giveaway happening on Saturday, August 8th!

This outreach event is sponsored by the HF Women’s Ministry, and we would love for everyone to join us in serving our community.

As you clean out closets, drawers, and cabinets over the next few weeks, please keep this project in mind. We are currently accepting:
• Household items
• Baby and children’s items
• TOYS for all ages
• Baby and children’s clothing

Please note: we only have LIMITED space for adult clothing and are unable to accept large bulky items such as furniture, exercise equipment, etc. We also ask that all donated items be in good condition and not broken.

We will be posting drop-off dates and times soon, so stay tuned for more details! If you have any questions please ask Mona Epperly.

Volunteers Needed!
Ladies, we are looking for help making more Scent Hearts to share with the Cabell-Huntington NICU. We have prepared packets with fabric, pins, and a heart pattern for you to take home.
Please take a packet and sign your name so we know who has them.
Cut and sew the hearts at home, and if you're unable to sew, simply return the cut-out hearts to the church.
Packets are available at the Welcome Center.
Thank you for helping us share comfort with NICU families.
