A Blessed Celebration of Faith and Promise‼️✝️☘️🙏

The day after his ordination at Saint Agnes, Father Patrick O’Brien celebrated his Jubilee First Mass at 11:30 am on Sunday, June 21, a truly fitting and blessed way to honor Father’s Day. It was a beautiful celebration filled with gratitude, faith, and joy.💚

A special thank you to Jennifer Larson for sharing the wonderful photos and video footage so everyone could experience this memorable occasion—whether watching again or celebrating it for the first time. What you will see is a true success story of leadership, dedication, and a bright future ahead.💚

Ordination to the Priesthood of Father Patrick O’Brien‼️✝️☘️🙏

On Saturday, the Diocese of Rockville Centre celebrated the ordination of Father Patrick O’Brien to the Holy Priesthood at the Cathedral of Saint Agnes in Rockville Centre. Bishop John O. Barres ordained Father O’Brien along with Fathers Dillon Vita and Nicholas Waldron. Family, friends, clergy, and the faithful gathered to celebrate this joyful day as these men began their priestly ministry.💚

Father O’Brien grew up in Riverhead with his parents, Richard and Kathleen, and his sisters, Megan and Shannon. His home parish is St. John the Evangelist in Riverhead, where his love for the Church began. His devotion to the Mass and Eucharistic Adoration helped him discern his call to the priesthood. During the Ordination Mass, Monsignor Camp had the honor of vesting Father O’Brien, a meaningful moment as he spent his Pastoral Year at St. Patrick’s Parish.💚

We thank God for Father Patrick O’Brien and congratulate Fathers Dillon Vita and Nicholas Waldron on their ordination. Father O’Brien will begin his priestly ministry serving at St. William the Abbot Parish and School in Seaford with Pastor Father Joe Fitzgerald. May the Lord bless these new priests with joy, holiness, and a fruitful ministry.💚

Beginning Tuesday, June 23, the Church will be locked at 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The only exception will be First Friday, August 7.💚

First Friday and First Saturday Devotions will be suspended for the July 4th weekend.💚

Happy Father’s Day to All Catholic Fathers‼️✝️☘️🙏

Today, we pray for all Catholic fathers. Thank you for reminding your children that they are loved by God and for helping them grow in faith and find their place in the Church.💚

We are grateful for the fathers who lead by example and never stop praying for their families. Your faith, love, and dedication make a lasting difference every day.💚

We also celebrate the fathers preparing their children for the next chapter of life and those who are part of the Faith Forward movement. May God bless you with strength, wisdom, and joy. Happy Father’s Day.💚
