This is “ONLY BIBLE TALK,” on any question dealt with, there will be no commentary other than what the Bible says about a given subject. My thinks so’s or your interpretation of the scriptures is of no consequence. It is not my place as the creature to questions the whys and the wherefores of the Creator. What is important, is to let the Scriptures interpret themselves. All scriptures will be based on the King James translation.

Question was raised, “What does the Bible say about Christians tithing?
Webster’s definition of tithe – “a tenth part of something paid as a voluntary contribution or as a tax especially for the support of a religious establishment”
Under the Law of Moses in the Old Testament.
Deuteronomy 26:1ff; Leviticus 27:30ff; Malachi 1:8, 13-14.
The New Testament deals with giving in the following;
I Corinthians 16:1-2; II Corinthians 9:5-7; Acts 11:29; II Corinthians 8:12-15; Luke 21:1; Romans 12:1.

I received a request to put forth what the Bible says about Divorce. Since they are intertwined the following verses deal with marriage, divorce, and remarriage.

Genesis 2:23-24; Ephesians 5:22-25; Colossians 3:18-19; I Peter 3:7; Matthew 19:3-12; Hebrews 13:4
