As a community, we love to celebrate milestones and share in one another’s journeys. Congratulations, Ella, on your graduation from high school. We are so proud of Ella, and wanted her to know it! To celebrate her achievement, this morning Pastor Nate presented her with an artisan Bible and daily devotional guide. After church, as part of our Fellowship meal, we had a cake celebrating Ella. Congratulations, love, prayers, and best of wishes for the future.

The Discipleship Dance!

Have you ever tried to explain something you can only truly understand by experiencing it? Love. Music. Standing beside the vast ocean. Dancing.

This Trinity Sunday, we explored one of faith's deepest mysteries: God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Not a puzzle to solve, but a relationship to enter. In Matthew 28, the disciples worshiped AND doubted on that mountain—and Jesus came to them anyway. Because doubt isn't the opposite of discipleship; it's part of it.

The Trinity isn't about perfect theology—it's about the divine dance. God in eternal communion, moving in perfect love, inviting us into the circle. We're not filling a gap in God's loneliness; we're joining an overflow of love. Jesus promises, "I am with you always, to the end of the age."

So when you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance. Because you're not dancing alone—the Triune God is already moving toward you, holding you, drawing you in.

Join Us This Trinity Sunday: "I Hope You Dance"

What if the Trinity isn't a puzzle to solve, but a relationship to enter? This Sunday, we dive into Matthew 28:16–20 and Psalm 8 to explore the "divine dance" of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In a fractured world, Jesus invites us into a community where doubt isn’t disqualifying, grace is real, and we are never dancing alone. Bring your questions, your worship, and your doubts, and join us this Sunday at 11:00 am, as we step into the rhythm of God's grace.

The final countdown has begun, until our 227th General Assembly convenes in Milwaukee. Stephen Phelps will be representing the Presbytery of the Mid-South as Commissioner, and serving on the Constitutional Interpretation Committee.

The General Assembly Operations Committee has a number of appointments to confirm and reports and bylaws to discuss and vote on, as well as an answer to that most basic of GA operations questions: Should future assemblies be held fully in person, including an exhibit hall? Committees of the 227th General Assembly meet online June 22-24. Read more: https://hubs.ly/Q04jfTM00
