The older I get the more I realize that every storm I have faced, I grew closer to God.

Every trial, every storm, every hardship and heartache, pointed me to Him. I leaned on Him. I clung to Him. I let Him carry me when I couldn't carry myself.

I often wonder what my faith life would look like if I took a different path and let the world comfort me instead of God.

So if you are in a storm and you are looking for a way out, talk to God. Let Him be your anchor. Doesn't mean you won't have storms and difficult times in the future, it just means they won't destroy you in the process.

Guilty🤦🏻‍♀️ And until recently I didn’t know the difference. We spread the Gospel to let people hear it. So we get it to their ears. It is the Holy Spirit that gets it from the ears to the heart for it to start changing them.
