Sunday night was a powerful picture of the Church at its best.

800–1,000 ethnically diverse people from churches across our city gathered to worship Jesus and pray for racial reconciliation and unity in Charlotte. We broke into groups of 10 to pray for our city, our churches, and our shared hope for a more united Church. It was beautiful, powerful, and a reminder that we are better together.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to represent Lake Forest and join this unified mission. We’re grateful to be part of what God is doing in our city!

What a Sunday! 🔥

Today was re:mix Takeover, and our students showed us what it looks like to Love Well. Live Sent.

They served, led worship, preached the Word, and 15 students took their next step through baptism! 🙌💦

Brittany reminded us today that God has a calling for each of us. Our calling isn’t simply a destination—it’s a daily walk with God, saying yes to where He’s leading us.

Maybe today is your reminder to renew your yes.

A Night of Worship & Prayer
Pursuing racial healing & hope through the power of Jesus.

Tonight, churches from across Charlotte will come together for a shared evening of worship and prayer.

Back in May, Pastor Mike gathered with pastors from 20 diverse churches across Charlotte, united by a desire to pursue racial reconciliation through the power of Jesus for the good of our city. Now, those relationships are taking a public step as we gather together to worship Jesus, share with one another, and pray for the healing of our city.

Pastor Mike invites you to join him in representing Lake Forest!

This morning is Re:mix Takeover!

Our youth ministry is taking over Lake Forest, from the parking lot to the stage, as our students help lead us in worship, serving, and celebrating together.

We’ll still be continuing our RENEW series as we explore how God restores what has grown tired, worn, or disconnected in our lives. But this Sunday, we’ll also have the incredible opportunity to celebrate with students who are taking a new step in their faith through baptism! 💧

This is one Sunday you won’t want to miss. Come cheer on our students, celebrate their stories, and support the youth ministry that is investing in and helping shape the next generation of Jesus followers.
