Unity Sunday is THIS Sunday! Join us for ONE service at 10:00 a.m. We will be outside in the preschool parking lot. Bring your lawn chair, and feel free to bring your well-behaved, leashed pup too! 🐶 After worship, stick around for grilled burgers, hot dogs, and fellowship. See you Sunday!

Our own Rev. Edna Riggs has written a book!

In Elusive Shadow, Edna shares her inspiring faith journey from childhood through retirement. Reflecting on life's challenges—including poverty, grief, family struggles, and her midlife call to ministry in the United Methodist Church—she offers a powerful testimony of God's faithfulness and transforming grace. Her memoir encourages readers to trust that God can use every season of life to inspire hope and make a difference in the lives of others.

Edna will be available after the Unity Sunday worship service this Sunday to sign her book. There will be some books available for sale that day, or you can buy a copy on Amazon! (Link in comments)

We're excited to welcome Tyler Buchanan as HUMC's new Director of Youth Ministries!

Tyler brings 15+ years of experience walking alongside middle and high schoolers as a longtime volunteer with Arise With Christ retreats, a Confirmation mentor right here at HUMC, and a former Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scouts of America. He's spent his life building trust with young people and helping them grow in faith, belonging, and relationship with Jesus.

Tyler and his wife Yesica are already part of our HUMC community, and we couldn't be more grateful for his heart for our students and his commitment to creating a safe, welcoming space where they can grow.

Join us in welcoming Tyler to this new role! We can't wait to see what God has in store for our youth ministry.

Join us at Church during either worship service, 8:30 AM or 10:30 AM.

Bring your backpack and come receive a special blessing as we pray for our students, teachers, school staff, and families heading into the new school year.
