☀️ This Week in Clubhouse… We Learned to Be the Light! ☀️

This week during Crafts with Deb, our kids created something extra special as we’ve been learning about what it means to shine the light of Jesus.

With our VBS theme, Illumination Station, we’ve been reminding kids that no matter how small they may be, God can use them to make a big difference. Yesterday, our children put that lesson into action by painting flower pots, planting succulents, and creating handmade cards for some of our shut-ins.

Through these simple acts of kindness, they shared encouragement, joy, and the love of Jesus with others.

🌱 A small plant.
💌 A handmade card.
✨ A bright smile.

Sometimes the smallest acts can shine the brightest light.

You are never too young to shine the light of Jesus! 💛

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸
As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we never forget the sacrifice made for the freedoms we enjoy each day. We are grateful for those who served with courage, strength, and selflessness.

“Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up…” — Deuteronomy 6 ❤️

This Sunday, Doug reminded us that faith isn’t meant to stay inside the church walls. It’s built in the everyday moments — the drivetime, the all-the-time, the bedtime prayers, the dinner table conversations, the walks, the questions, and the little moments that become big ones.

Deuteronomy 6 reminds us that teaching our children about Jesus isn’t about perfection or adding one more thing to our schedule — it’s about creating a rhythm where God is part of our everyday lives.

Sometimes the most meaningful discipleship happens in the car line, on the way to practice, during bedtime snuggles, or around the kitchen table. ❤️

Let’s make faith more than a Sunday thing — let’s make it an everyday thing.

This week we learned about Philip and the Ethiopian in Acts 8. Philip showed kindness by walking alongside someone who had questions, helping him understand God’s Word, and sharing the love of Jesus with him. What a beautiful reminder that kindness can look like listening, helping, teaching, and caring for others right where they are. ❤️

Thank God for rain!! Thank God for children!! Thank God!

Just as preschool was letting out today, it started raining. This little took full advantage of it!

Soak it up, child! And may we all find a little freedom to get wet and maybe stomp in a puddle or two today.
