Have you picked up your stones?

David couldn't fight Goliath until he picked up the stones. He had to take action. He had to step out in faith, but he had to have his weapon when he did, and not just any weapon. God gave him a specific weapon, a specific plan to defeat the enemy. It wasn't Sauls armor or anyone else's plan of attack that could do it. God had a plan, 5 smooth stones and a sling. Sometimes, well most times, God's plan may not make sense, may not seem practical or logical. But, God!! His way is always best. His plan will always defeat the enemy and bring victory. God had already prepared David even as a shepherd boy. He fought a bear and a lion to protect his sheep. God has prepared you, too. Are you accepting defeat because your giant seems too big? It is not for God! Pick up your stones and defeat the enemy. When God calls you, He equips you. Don't be afraid!

Flailing or floating?

I had a vision of someone in a river wildly flailing their arms around like they were drowning. Then, the vision transformed and they were floating peacefully in the river, flowing with the river. Our Heavenly Father doesn't want us struggling and fighting to survive. He is telling us that if we would stop trying to survive on our own, to save ourselves, to do it by ourselves, then He will give us rest, the peace that passes all understanding that Jesus died for. Then we can float on the river of peace with Jesus. Resting in the loving arms of your Father.

"Cast your burden on the Lord and he will sustain you."
