Our 2026 Adult Mission Team has dispersed to travel home from their four day work camp at Henderson Settlement, but we still have lots to share! Wednesday both teams converged on the shed project where there was roofing and siding to add. The team called it an early day to enjoy a cookout (thanks, Tami and Mel!) and a visit with Executive Director John and his wife, Lisa. It was a wonderful day of work and fellowship!

🌍🛠✝If these mission updates have got you itching to DO something, YOU CAN! Part of GROWing our faith at Trinity is to GO serve, and on Sunday, Sept. 27, EVERYONE is invited to join our The Church Has Left the Building event.

In place of regular worship, we'll divide into teams to not only serve our local neighbors but also aid our brothers and sisters around the world. You DO NOT want to miss this opportunity! Team sign up days will be Sunday, Sept. 13, and 20, in person only in the lobby before and after service. Come and serve with us!

Tuesday was a big day for our team at Henderson Settlement! The flooring crew completely wrapped its project while the shed crew made major strides in building their homeowner’s shed and disciples took in three deliveries to the thrift shop. You don’t have to travel far to GO and serve! (Our Church Has Left the Building event on Sunday, Sept. 27, will reinforce that!) Local service work exists, too! In August, our Mission Central Team returned to its scheduled visits and traveled to Mission Central, the UMC service warehouse in Mechanicsburg, for a fun morning of service. It was a HOT and challenging day but our mission team accomplished MANY things today! The shed team took an open space and left it with the start of a shed—digging holes and building the floor of the structure. The flooring team cleaned out their space and installed almost all of the flooring. And our sole campus worker tackled sorting seasonal clothes…a LOT of clothes! Check out the memories.

We like to build walls around who is "in" and who is "out," but God’s grace is always breaking those walls down. How often do we judge others based on our own arbitrary rules of who is "acceptable"? In this week's message on Acts 10, we look at how God reshaped Peter’s heart—reminding him that God's love isn't meant to be kept in a selective bubble.

They all made it! Our mission team has gathered at Henderson Settlement in Frakes, Kentucky, and are ready to hit the ground running tomorrow for four days of service! The team will split to remove carpet and lay flooring at one home and build a shed at another as well as serving on campus. Stay tuned for updates!

They've been slowly preparing and tomorrow they GO to serve others. Please keep our 12-member mission team in your prayers as they head to Henderson Settlement in Frakes, Kentucky, for a week of service. The group will travel independently--please pray for safe travels for each as they make this journey. We'll have updates from Kentucky throughout the week. Stay tuned.

And another to our wonderful "Treasure Island" musical presented by our M.A.D. Camp students! It's amazing what these kids can do in a week!
