St. Peter's Lutheran Church - Humboldt, KS We are a member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Sunday schedule- SS 9AM; Worship 10AM St.

It is our aim to make known the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its purity and administer His Sacraments faithfully among the people of southeast Kansas. Peter's is a friendly Congregation located in the Southeastern Kansas city of Humboldt. We are a member congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and adhere to Scripture as the divinely inspired and authoritative Word of God and the Book of Concord as the correct exposition of Scripture.

This coming Sunday May 24 is Pentecost Sunday where we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit to the 12 Disciples. The picture is a painting my brother Rev. Mark Jennings painted to depict the Holy Spirit. Come, Holy Ghost, God and Lord! Amen.

Good morning. I just wanted to give you a couple of updates:
1. We will not be having VBS at St. Peter's this summer. With family illnesses, preventing burnout from volunteers and not being able to find the right week to have it, we are going to cancel. We plan to have it return in the Summer of 2027.
2. Children's Sunday School will take a hiatus for the summer. Sunday May 10, 2026, will be the last SS class until September. It will follow the midweek school calendar and begin when it does.
Adult Bible Class on Sundays will continue at 9am every Sunday throughout the summer.

These decisions weren't easy to make, but we wanted to give our volunteers a much needed break so they can be refreshed for the upcoming school year. Thank you all for your prayers and support. If you have any questions or concerns, please talk to Pastor.
