Chronological Bible day 213: King Josiah, not since David has there been a king like Josiah. he had already started cleaning out the evils of all the other kings since David. and then they found a scroll of Moses. not only did the king read it, but he had it read even to the far reaches of his kingdom. he even had it sent to the remanent of Isreal, which had already been destroyed. People, even priests had not read God's word for generations. This reminds me of our current study. all of us have had a Bible in our house that has gone largely unread. but in this daily study we have been systematically reading. I have found so many things God has revealed in the last 8 months that I have been living without my whole life. everyday I turn the page to find something new.

Look at the 2 Chronicles reading 34:25, "...Josiah, who turned to the LORD with all his heart and soul and strength..." so that is what following the greatest commandment looks like!(Matt 22:37, Mk12:30, Deu 6:5)
