Friends of Mount Hope Cemetery Mount Hope Cemetery is located in Humboldt, KS, established in 1904. We are spread over 40 acres of ground, with an 1/8th mile drive entrance.

Don’t forget to pick up flowers this weekend.
We start picking them up Monday so that mowing and trimming is possible.
Trinkets around stones do limit the amount of trimming being able to be done, understand this may mean tall weeds may be around the stone too.

We would like to say thank you to the family of Dana Peters for thinking of the cemetery for her memorial. And thank you all her friends and family that contributed, we have lots of things we hope to do and the memorials help us reach those goals quicker.

Whew what a day! Thank you to Dennis and Houi Piatt, for presenting today. Debbie Clappsaddle as always knocked out of the park with her cookies. Kelli Piatt, Gabriel Kazan, and Devon West for all the set up help. Barrett Young for manning the sign-in. Over 80 people attended today!

A little update if you haven’t been out to see what’s happening. Each year we try to pick a major project at the of the end of the year with a lot of help from Jim Kepley we started clearing more overgrowth. Over 50 years since this southeast corner could be seen. Jim Woods and I are still thinning out the trees and cleaning up, almost 7 acres.
