Faith isn’t trusting God when you can see the outcome—it’s trusting Him before the outcome is visible.

This Sunday, we kicked off our new series, Heroes of Faith, by looking at Hebrews 11 and discovering that faith is living in the reality of who God is, even when we can’t see what He’s doing. The heroes of Scripture weren’t perfect people—they were people who chose to trust a perfect God.

As we begin this summer journey through Hebrews 11, may we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, and take the next step of obedience He’s calling us to make.

Last month, we celebrated two incredible Volunteers of the Week who faithfully serve and make a difference at West Lake.

▪Anthony – Serving in LakeKids Elementary and helping create a fun, encouraging environment where kids can learn about Jesus and grow in their faith.

▪Katie – Serving on our Worship Team and helping create meaningful moments where our church family can worship and connect with God together.

The battle is real—but so is the armor God has given us. ⚔️

Sunday, Pastor Lou wrapped up our Armor of God series by looking at the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. When we read Scripture, learn Scripture, and live Scripture, God transforms us, equips us, and strengthens us for every spiritual battle we face. We don’t fight alone.
