Obedience in the Midst of Resistance 🌊

Today in Mark 6:45-48, we were reminded that just because the wind is against you doesn’t mean God is against you.

Jesus sent the disciples into the boat, yet they still encountered resistance. The storm wasn’t evidence of disobedience—it was part of God’s process of developing them.

Many of us are rowing through difficult seasons right now. Family challenges. Health concerns. Financial pressures. Unanswered questions.

But take heart:

✅ God sees your obedience.

✅ God sees your struggle.

✅ God has authority over what overwhelms you.

✅ God is using resistance to develop strength in you.

The disciples were straining at the oars, but Jesus never lost sight of them. While they were battling the wind, He was watching from the mountain. And at just the right time, He came to them.

Don’t mistake resistance for abandonment.

💕✨ Women’s Ministry Fellowship ✨💕

What a beautiful time of fellowship, laughter, creativity, and sisterhood!

Our Women’s Ministry gathered for a unique experience as we created our own personalized fragrances. Each scent was as unique as the woman who crafted it, reminding us that God created each of us with purpose, beauty, and individuality.

Beyond blending fragrances, we shared stories, strengthened friendships, encouraged one another, and enjoyed meaningful fellowship. Moments like these remind us of the blessing of sisterhood and the joy that comes from gathering together in faith.

To top off an already wonderful day, we enjoyed a delicious lunch together, continuing the conversations, laughter, and connection around the table. The food was great, but the fellowship was even sweeter!

We are grateful for every woman who joined us and helped make this event so special. We left with custom fragrances, cherished memories, and hearts filled with gratitude for the gift of sisterhood.

Today was a powerful reminder that God still meets people in hard seasons.

We rejoice with those who publicly declared their faith through baptism today. What a beautiful picture of new life in Christ.

Today’s message, “Built For Hard Seasons” (2 Corinthians 4:6–12), reminded us:

“Confusion does not mean abandonment. God often does His deepest work in the seasons we least understand.”

Pressure may be real… but so is God’s presence.

Built By God. Pruned By God. Fruitful For God.

3️⃣ Fairness Over Favoritism
4️⃣ Grace Must Lead the Process

Blended families don’t need less patience…
they need MORE love, MORE communication, and MORE grace.

Today at Global Outreach Community Church, we celebrated the strength, sacrifice, wisdom, and faith of mothers everywhere. 💐

A special thank you to our Worship Arts Ministry and our students for helping make today’s Mother’s Day celebration so meaningful and memorable.

Pastor Anderson challenged us from Exodus 2 with a powerful reminder:

“Don’t just raise children for comfort…
Build your children for the river.”

Like Jochebed, godly mothers prepare their children to stand strong in difficult currents, trust God in uncertain seasons, and fulfill His purpose in their generation.

Mothers, thank you for your prayers, your courage, your covering, and your faith. We honor you today! ❤️

Today, we celebrate the beautiful women who nurture, encourage, lead, and love with grace and compassion. Whether through motherhood, mentorship, prayer, guidance, or simply showing up for others, your impact reaches far beyond what words can express.

WHEN YOU DON’T HAVE ANSWERS… HOLD ON TO GOD 🙌🏽

Today we were reminded:
God didn’t explain everything to Job…
He revealed Himself.

And when God speaks from the whirlwind,
you don’t just get answers—
you get His presence.

But here’s the beauty…
You don’t have to hold on alone.

🤝 We hold on together
❤️ We love on each other
🙏🏽 We walk through life as a family

Because sometimes the answer isn’t a reason— it’s a relationship.
With God… and with His people.

This is what church looks like.
Not just a message… but a movement of love.
