There's a lot to be excited about in the days, weeks, and months ahead for Houston Northeast, but don't miss the big picture.

It's not about buildings and spaces. It's about people, families, and generations coming to know and follow Jesus.

This Sunday, we begin an important season together as a church family, seeking the Lord and considering our part in what he's calling us to do.

We'd love for you to be here! ๐Ÿ’™

Sometimes following Jesus means changing our plans. Sometimes it means being more generous. And sometimes it means simply making time for someone who needs us.

The question to consider is: Who's directing our decisionsโ€”our comfort and control, or Jesus?

We've seen the possibilities. We've voted to move forward. Now, we're ready to take the next step together.

This Sunday, we begin a new sermon series as we seek the Lord and consider what he is calling us to do as a church family. Make plans to join us! ๐Ÿ’™

After months walking through John's letters, we're left with a question that reaches into every part of our lives.

Are we simply learning more about Jesus, or are we allowing his truth to change how we live?

As we closed out the series Sunday, we were challenged to live for the sake of his name, not our own. ๐Ÿ’™

We say Jesus is first, but do our choices reflect that?

Following Jesus isn't always comfortable or convenient. Sometimes it means surrendering the very things we'd rather hold on to.

In 3 John, we're challenged to consider whether Jesus really has first place in every area of our lives, even when obedience costs us something.

More than 100 high school football players. Three hours. One house. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Pastor Coleman used a story from his own home to remind us that genuine love welcomes others while also taking responsibility for what we allow to influence them.

โ€œThe love that makes room at our table also has to take responsibility for what happens at our table.โ€

That's true in our homes, and it's true for the church.

In 2 John, we're reminded that genuine love doesn't set aside the truth of Jesus. It holds fast to it. We are called to walk in both truth and love. ๐Ÿ’™

We're learning a new song together this Sunday, and Pastor Ben and Eadie have a little preview for you! ๐ŸŽถ

Take a listen, and we'll see you Sunday at 9 or 10:30 AM!

Grace. Mercy. Peace.

Three words we hear often, but don't always stop to think about.

God has shown us grace we could never earn, mercy we could never deserve, and, through Jesus, peace with him.

What a beautiful reminder of all we've been given through Christ. ๐Ÿ’™

Loving people well doesn't mean compromising the truth.

In 2 John, we're reminded that truth and love belong together. We're called to welcome others, walk alongside them, and hold fast to Jesus through it all.

So what does walking in truth and love look like in your life? Swipe through three challenges from Sunday's message. ๐Ÿ’™

What's shaping your understanding of Jesus?

The voices we listen to, the teaching we trust, and the messages we share all matter.

In 2 John, we're reminded to be watchful and hold fast to the truth of Jesus. There's too much at stake not to.
