What world are we living in today brothers and sisters?
We tend to look only at the big things on the world stage such as the horrific wars in the Middle East, Euchraine and elsewhere… but right in our own homes, in our backyards… how are we treating with one another, how are parents treating with their children, how are our women dressing? What are our men about? Every man for him or herself… where is God in the picture? Are we teaching ourselves, our children the Word of God? Are we putting self first, money, power, and the greed right in our own families .. siblings fighting over property, mis - treatment of our elders… charity begins at home.
The Bible says that we ought to love God with all our heart, our mind and our soul…. And to love our neighbour as ourself… which also means we got to love ourselves… as a child of God made in His own image and likeness.. Amen!
