What a blessing as we gathered at the river on Saturday, August 29, 2026 to witness Pastor Barry baptize Tina! We have videos from two different angles. Afterward, quite a few of our number met at Zeb's Bar-b-q for some good food & great fellowship!

River Baptism on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 4 PM
Location - Slow Water (recently closed to the public); see Slow Water on FB
Address - 5756 US-29, Royston, GA 30662
Directions - Take Hwy 29 North from Madison County to the Franklin County line. Cross the bridge over the Hudson River & travel approximately 6.5 miles to cross the bridge over the Broad River. Pass Fowler Road on the right & take the next left to Slow Water.

Please join us as our sister in Christ, Tina, follows the Lord in believer's baptism, publicly professing her faith & new life in Jesus Christ. Pastor Barry Black will have the honor of officiating this baptism by immersion. All of our Anchor folks, as well as Tina's family & friends, are welcome to attend. Let's take this opportunity to encourage our sister & to celebrate with her!
Afterward, all of those who attend the baptism are invited to gather at Zeb's Bar-B-Q, Danielsville, for supper & a great time of fellowship.
