New Hope Cemetery

Hello friends and family members of New Hope Cemetery. Last night the storm took out a few trees. Please keep clear of the cemetery for a couple weeks as we will be doing our best to get all the damage repaired. Some headstones were knocked down but i didnt see any true damage to the ones that got knocked over. If you have questions you can text me I will do my best to answer them asap or send a message on messenger. Thank you.

Sunday May 24th at 10am, New Hope Cemetery annual Decoration day will be held with the traditional sing and walk around the cemetery and a short Bible reading to follow.
A special thank you to those who have spent time on cemetery grounds cleaning up, whether it’s trash pickup and/or mowing. As well as all who have donated to the upkeep! You are all appreciated!!

New Hope Memorial Day service will be this Sunday at 10am underneath the sycamore tree and lunch at the church fellowship hall right after, bring sides to go with sandwiches. Hope to see each of you there!

Cleaned up. Thanks to all who came and helped. No headstones damaged. First of August all flowers will be removed for mid year cleaning.

Reminder: New Hope Cemetery decoration day will be on the fourth Sunday, May 22 at 10am.
New Hope Baptist Church Reverend Jimmy Carey will lead us in the traditional decoration song and then church service will be held under the sycamore tree. New Hope Baptist Church will be hosting a fellowship dinner for all attendees following decoration service.
Hope all can attend as we remember/celebrate the lives of our loved ones at rest.

I applied some w**d killer to certain areas of the cemetery today, please allow the chemical a couple days to dry, Before going to visit. Sorry it's taken me a while to get the grass under control, I work full time and I work out of town so I do my best to make time for the upkeep. Thank you to my mom, dad and brother for donating their time and helping out.
