Night 2 DNOW! We had two great sessions this afternoon! Session 3 was led by Bruce and session 4 was led by Andy! We had a wonderful meal provided by the Hager’s!

We ended the night with a fun trip to Activate and ice cream!!!

The first half of day 2 is off to a great start! Breakfast provided by Men’s Bible study and lunch from The Bridge Small Group! Session 2 led by Pastor Paul!

Our mission work was serving the ladies of First Light by filing baggies with laundry detergent!

We are getting ready to kick off DNOW weekend! Please be in prayer for our youth this weekend! For open hearts, minds, and spirits! For the Lord to move in their life more than they could even imagine!

Day 6! We wrapped up our project! These youth built a porch and stairs! Could not be more proud of them for all of their hard work and determination this week! A very rewarding and fulfilling job well done!

We made it home about 11:00 last night! Thankful for safe travels and a good nights sleep in our own beds! Sister Golden Hair (our team name this past week) had a great week in West Virginia, but we are happy to be home!

Day 5! Shoowee! These kids!! They are hands down the best and when they get their minds made up they do whatever goal they have set! Tomorrow we will finish up with rails and spindles! We are excited to see our project complete!

Day 4! We are worn out! But this has been such a rewarding trip so far with how much progress we have made, even with a couple of hours of a down pour this morning! This afternoon we were able to lay our porch and get the stringers done for the stairs! I know I’ve said it but I am so so so proud of these youth!!!

A big thank you to Chris for helping us with our project today, couldn’t have done it without him!!!

Tonight we explored a little at Lovers Leap and had an amazing cheeseburger at the Swiftwater General Store!!

Day 3! Got all but one post set, frame up and joists in! Could not be more proud of these youth and how hard they are working!!

Tonight we are going to explore the town a little!

Day 2! We cleaned up old stairs and started digging our 2 foot holes for our post. Got our inspection done and passed ✅ and so we were able to get a couple of post in the ground! Also got our frame done for the porch.

So proud of these kids and how hard they worked! It was a great first day on the job site! 👏🏼👏🏼
