In Matters of the Heart After raising a family of six children, Greta Baker entered River of Life School of Christian Leadership because of a deep desire to know God.

Greta's desire is to see God's people walk in wholeness (the ability to walk out of their own hurts and into the promises of God) by allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to work in and through their lives as they minister to others. she had no plans of going into ministry of any kind. However, God had a different idea in mind. After four years, Greta completed her studies and on August 8, 1993, s

he became an ordained minister of the gospel. At graduation, she made a vow to God and said, "God, whatever doors You open I will walk through!" (Isaiah 61:1-6)

Greta has been a teacher of the Word for over twenty-five years. She preaches under the anointing of the Holy Spirit across the United States and around the world. She continues to travel to the former Soviet Union and Mexico, where through her ministry, many men and women have been healed of broken hearts, delivered from the strongholds in their lives, and have come into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. She has been a member of Resurrection Life Church in Grandville, Michigan for over twenty-seven years where she has led prayer meetings, conducted Bible studies, and taught at conferences and workshops.

1Samuel 30” David recovered all”.
As I am watching God‘s amazing rescue mission of our children, it reminded me,of David and God‘s faithfulness to him after the enemy stole everything he had and burned Ziklag.
So the story goes……. So David and his men came to the town, and behold it was burned, and their wives and sons and daughters were taken captive. So David and his men.lifted up their voices and wept until they had no more strength to weep.The men with David spoke of stoning him, the souls of them all were bitter grieved, each man for his sons and daughters, but David encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God.
David asked for his ephod, and he inquired of the Lord saying should I go after the enemy and pursue this troop?The Lord answered him and said .pursue!
I fell in love with David’s heart at this point,he left 200 of his soldiers to stay back and rest
,and continuing. on the way, he found one man who had gotten sick although him being an enemy he used him to show him where the enemy had camped. After providing him with bread and water his soul was refreshed
The ultimate (which is being offered to many in this present war.)
If you will take me down to the enemies camp, and not deliver me into the hands of my master, I’ll bring you down to the camp.
David smote his enemies from twilight to evening of the next day and not a man escaped except for 100 young people.
And David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken and rescued his two wives, nothing was missing,small or great, sons or  Daughters.
God’s mercy demonstrated thru David, verse 21 when David came to the men left at the Brooke, they came to meet David,and he saluted them.
All the wicked man that went with David said because they did not go with us, we will give them nothing of the spoil that we have recovered, except that every man may lead away his wife and his children and go.
Here i see God’s: David’s heart
David said, this is not what you should do my brother, the Lord has given us and preserved us and has delivered them into our our hands (the troop that came against us)
You should not do so my brethren,for as the share of him who goes into the battle, so shall
his share be who stays by the baggage. They shall share alike.
FromThis day on he made it a statue and an ordinance for Israel
When David returned to ziglag, he shared the spoils with all of his friends.
God is doing amazing work in a country and his grace and his generosity is overflowing. This is such an encouraging word for all of us because we are winning and we are going to see the greatest revival and restoration of our children that we’ve ever seen May we continue to be compassionate to those that are against us and generously sharing with them the good news of victory.

“Almost”
Today I want to encourage all of you, you are battle weary. After reading the book of Ruth today, God began to talk to me, that so many of his people after going halfway with Him,give up.
In the book of Ruth it talks about three women Naomi, Ruth and Orpah(all losing their husband) their path gets rough and difficult.
And many give up not realizing that God is still expecting us to live a life to be lived for Him.
In the past living in the Us ( us as Christians)have had it easy to live our Christian lives.
However now we are no longer popular. I spoke on the book of Ruth
in Germany, the danger of going only halfway with Jesus (as Orpah did) praise God He anointed that message that day,as they remembered what they witnessed under Hi**er and many came to repentance that day.

We are challenged in our day to either fight the good fight of faith or lay
down out batons and give up and allow communism to have “the home of
the brave and the land of the free”.

Jeremiah 6:15 “standing at the cross roads and look; ask for the ancient paths,ask where the good way is, and walk in it. This is where you and I have a choice.......ask....... and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, we will not walk In it.
We are all battle weary, my Monday ladies are warriors, they have lost friends and relationships because we( as christiand ) have become lazy. God says do not get weary in well doing for we will win (if we faint not)
If you”ve read the book of Ruth recently, you’ll find that Orpah went back to her gods of Moab.Is that really what we want. Ruth however said to her mother-in - I will not let you go.until death do us part.
I will not let go until we see the victory that is promised us and our children and their children.
To sumerize this “I declare we will overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony, See you on the other side of all this!

Psalms two”. Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his anointed saying, let us break their bones in pieces and cast away their cords from us.
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh. The Lord shall hold them in derision.Then He shall speak to them in his wrath, and distress them in his deep displeasure.
Yet I have set My King and on My holy hill of Zion, and I will declare the decree that the Lord has said to me.
You are my child today I have you begotten you. Ask of me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance and the ends of the earth for your possession. You should break them with a rod of iron,you shall Dash them to pieces like a
potters vessel.Now therefore be wise Oh kings,be instructed,
you judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice in Him with trembling.

Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.”

“Why the delay”?
Exodus 32:1 “When the people’s saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, they gathered together to AARON, and said to him,Up, make us gods to go before us; for this man Moses,we do not know what has become of him.
When I read this, it jumped out at me.
This is a lesson from the Lord that we need right now. My question lately
Has been, Lord when will You move.......the Israelites waited forty days for Moses to come down that mountain, we’ve waited much longer.
As I continued reading this chapter, the people decided to take matters into their own hands, instead of living in expectation of what God was about to
do.(This is where the fear of God hit me hard,( going back to normal living) not expecting anything to change, ( serving wood hay and stubble)
Well let’s go on and see what happens when they (the Israelites )were willing to settle for any one that would satisfy their flesh.

vs7 “The Lord said to Moses,Go down for your people,whom you brought out of Egypt( talking about God’s people)have corrupted themselves. They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded.
Psalm 42:5”
Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him”

Moses begins to stand in the gap, and dialogs with God,asking God to turn from His fierce anger, and change His mind , “then the Lord turned”from the evil which He had thought to do to His people.This is the power of our ( standing in the gap for our families)

As Moses came down from the “mountain of God” and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses anger blazed., he took the calf and burned it in the fire and made the people drink the water that contained the powdered calf.
He then spoke to the people, and said, you have sinned a great sin,
In vs.26” then Moses said to the people, whoever is on the Lords side , let him come to me!
All the Levites gathered together to him.

And the Lord said, to the levites,every man put his sword on his side and go in and out from the gate throughout the camp and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, his neighbor, and there fell that day 3000 men.
Here is where God separated, the wheat from the tares.
Vs33”But the Lord said to Moses,whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot them out(not you) out of My Book.
So why the delay. As I talk to people I hear their thinking. This is the way it is going to be. Something inside rises up,in me and says No! This is a delay to put our in trust God for His timing.
Personally I’ m waiting for God to turn the tide ( like He did at the “Red Sea”
“For the glory of the Lord is about to cover this world like the waters cover the sea,l”

Let us wait patiently for our mighty God to bring salvation and not turn aside leaning to our own understanding.

God works best in gross darkness! Stand still and see the glory of the Lord!
Jesus said when I return will I find faith on the earth? This is not the time to be swayed by what we see,it’s time to stand in faith believing that what God has started he will surely finish.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not yet seen
I pray that your faith will stand
strong and you will not be as doubting Thomas.
