I am preparing for the 2022 Kazoo Nat'l Street Rod Assoc. event Sept 16-18. I am hoping to draw a few more "after the event" clients, as well as, create a few new garage guy & gal repurposed metal pieces for the show. I'm working on a number of 30" x 24" x 14.5" CNC scrap bins that I hope will be a hit. I'll be in the Swap meet area.

Quality Time: I had a friend of mine, Dave Burgess (professional photographer) join me for a perfect fall afternoon for an site shoot. This vintage collection of aging trucks belongs to a gentleman who has retained his father's collection. Note Dave's special effects (light painting) on several of the shots. I expect to add my 35mm color and b&w shots in the next week or so. Thanks for joining me Dave.

Wow, the attack on Sen. Rand Paul last evening fits the biblical fact of how the wise will loose their sensibility. The left has become so unhinged they can not debate, reason or accept another point of view.
My reading today spells it out:

Reading 1 1 COR 1:17-25
Brothers and sisters:
Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the Gospel,
and not with the wisdom of human eloquence,
so that the cross of Christ might not be emptied of its meaning.
The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
For it is written:
I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and the learning of the learned I will set aside.
Where is the wise one?
Where is the scribe?
Where is the debater of this age?
Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish?
For since in the wisdom of God
the world did not come to know God through wisdom,
it was the will of God through the foolishness of the proclamation
to save those who have faith.
For Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom,
but we proclaim Christ crucified,
a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
but to those who are called, Jews and Greeks alike,
Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom,
and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

Pray for peace and hope for the best this election year and prepare for the worst.
