Puerto Rico Mission Update:
¡Feliz año nuevo! Although we looked to have a meal at a specific restaurant nearby, after hiking up there we found it was closed and had a good laugh as we took ourselves to the Burger King. After, we attended a large evening service with much song and celebration.

Puerto Rico Mission Update:
Sunday, we also walked through local streets to check on neighbors. Our leader would stand at a gate and call out to them and they would come out and tell us their stories (about life and about their Hurricane Maria experiences), asking us to pray for various family members. The people of Puerto Rico are truly welcoming, to friends and strangers alike.

SPUD SUNDAY is this week and due by 12/15. In addition to potatoes, the Hudson Food Pantry is also in need of:
– canned mixed vegetables, peas, soups, beets, fruit (fruit cocktail, pineapple, pears)
– canned or jarred sauerkraut
– chili beans
– jelly
– helpers (chicken, tuna, and beef)
– toilet paper
