The Father's perfection is mercy, patience and charity. In ordinary life, holiness grows not by being without flaws, but by becoming more like Him in how we love.

A few simple ways to stay rooted while traveling:
• Make a plan for Mass before your trip
• Start the morning with prayer before the day gets busy
• Communicate your plans and priorities with the people you’re traveling with ahead of time
• Don’t leave your relationship with God up to chance

Rest is good. Adventure is good. But staying connected to the Lord while away can transform your entire trip.
