It's been a wonderful month celebrating the many vocations from our parish, so let's keep the momentum going. Here is a discernment update from seminarian Benjamin Baratian! Please keep Ben in your prayers as he continues to discern his vocation to the priesthood.

Welcome! Please use this time before Mass begins to settle in.

We invite you to pray this Act of Spiritual Communion along with the priest after his reception of communion:
“My Jesus, I believe You are really here in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You more than anything in the world, and I hunger to receive You. But since I cannot receive Communion at this moment, feed my soul at least spiritually. I unite myself to You now as I do when I actually receive You. Amen.”

In the quiet rhythm of Ordinary Time, we're reminded who we truly are. Through Christ, we are chosen, set apart and called to live differently, not for ourselves but to reflect His light in the world. Our daily lives become a witness to the One who has claimed us as His own.

How is God inviting me to live out my identity as His chosen people in the ordinary moments of my day?

Now in Ordinary Time, we are reminded that while so much changes in our lives, God's Word does not. The Scriptures are not just words for the past but they are living and enduring, speaking truth, guidance and life into our everyday lives. To return to the Word is to anchor ourselves in what never fades.

How is God inviting me to spend more time with His Word and let it shape my daily life?

Today is the feast day of Saint Philip Neri.

Philip was a charismatic and intriguing man as many were charmed by his personality. He originally studied to be a priest but abandoned his studies after three years and became an active member of the laity. He spent his days engaging others from all walks of life in the faith.

After 13 years, Philip was again urged to become a priest. Many other men who followed him also became priests and together they formed the Oratory, a religious institution who live in community with a special dedication to charity work.

Philip died in 1595 of a hemorrhage and was canonized in 1622. He is the patron of joy, laughter, humor, and Rome.

Saint Philip Neri, pray for us!
