The answer this week... The Gazebo between Aldersgate and Maples!

If you were able to guess this one, whew, you know your East Bay buildings! This is such a great space right on the lake for any kind of small group gathering. During the summer we use the gazebo primarily for Bible Studies, but any group can use this spot for a gathering or even a shaded picnic space.

This week's camp highlight... Kickoff to Summer!!

Kickoff to Summer is a great way to well, Kick off your Summer!! This week our campers can expect to play outdoor games, make crafts, swim, go boating, and all sorts of other great activities.

This is an awesome camp experience for anyone from 1st - 8th grades.

Today we are going to start highlighting our summer camp programs each week!
Kicking us off….Day Camp!!

Our day camp program is open to children entering kindergarten through 8th grade.
Our weeks start June 1st and run through August 14th.

Campers will get to be outside, create, learn, sing, play, build, swim, and so much more. A morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided.
Whether you sign your child up for one day, one week, or everyday of the summer they are sure to come home with stories to share.

The answer is Maples Shelter! You might have confused this shelter with the Aldersgate Shelter because they look very similar. BUT I bet all of our Day Campers got this one correct!

Our Day Campers know this shelter and the whole Maples Area of camp very well!! The Maples Area is the home base for Day Camp during the summer. They get dropped off and picked up here, do crafts, explore the woods, use the bathhouse, do rest hour, play 9 square, make campfires, learn environmental education, sing songs, have devotions, etc etc etc all at Maples. It is awesome for them to have their home at camp even though they don't spend the night.

Day Camp is offered every weekday from June 1 to August 14th. Day Camp registration is very flexible:
Want your kids to come every day? ✅
Want your kids to come one week in July? ✅
Want your kids to come on Tuesdays all summer?✅
Want your kids to come one day this summer to try it out?✅
No matter the combination of days, your child is welcomed at Day Camp!!

Day Camp is for rising K to 8th grade. It is $250 a week or $60 a day. It is from 7:30am to 5:30pm but drop off times can be later and pick up times can be earlier if needed - just communicate that with our office staff. Campers are fed a camp lunch and 2 snacks while they are at camp. AND each week is themed to keep the activities varied and the children engaged.

Throwing a difficult "Where at Camp" at you this week! There are so many red buildings at camp, but where is this one located? Maybe you can tell by what is in the background.

Did you know that our iconic red paint is very well known? If you go into Sherman Williams in Bloomington and ask for East Bay Red, they will know exactly the color. This red has really made its mark!

The answer is WOODS CAMP! This section of camp has 5 cabins, each one with two private bathrooms and two rooms. These cabins are available in all seasons. All cabins are surrounding a central campfire pit and near a multipurpose building.

Woods Cabins are best suited for guests who enjoy rustic, simple accommodations that provide a more classic camping feel. In Woods Camp, you are farther away from the other parts of camp. This makes your experience quieter, more focused on nature.
