St. John's Ron Kiziah won this beautiful patriotic quilt, made by St. John's Sandi Shumaker, as part of the summer raffle for the nonprofit Happy Cheers group sponsored by Hudson United Methodist Church. The quilt commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. Happy Cheers made a little over $800 with the raffle, according to Sandi. Happy Cheers meets Thursdays at the Methodist church. Anyone interested in joining the group can find Sandi's contact information in the church directory and give her a call.
