SCC has a new group starting up in August! A Grief Share support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief.

There is no cost for you. Child care will be available!

Today, we welcomed 154 children as we learned, laughed, sang, played, and discovered the amazing truth that Jesus makes us new! Through Bible lessons, worship, crafts, games, and time together, children were reminded that no matter who they are or what their past may be, Jesus offers new life, new hope, and a new beginning.

Please continue to pray for our VBS this week. Pray that hearts will be open, lives will be changed, and every child will come to know the love of Jesus in a deeper way.

We are still working on our offering goal for A Mustard Seed Ministry. For tomorrow we have asked the kids to bring "their best offering". We have faith that they will meet their goal.

We can't wait to see what God has in store for our last day tomorrow!

Wacky Wednesday brought us 144 kiddos for VBS! Today we talked about how Jesus is alive!
It was a warm one outside, but we stayed inside where it was much more comfortable. Do you have a child or neighbor that you think would like to come and have some fun with us? It's not too late! See you tomorrow at 9!!

What a day we’ve had!!! 162 children entered our doors this morning to have fun, make a cool craft and most importantly, learn that Jesus is always with them. Wow!!!!!! 🙌

Our missionary for our week of VBS is A Mustard Seed Ministry.

The Peak Family is launching into long-term ministry in El Salvador to teach practical skills, build friendships and share the love of Jesus with children and families.

Each day this week we will ask the kids to bring in a offering. Tuesday is pennies, Wednesday is silver coins, Thursday is dollars and Friday is bring in your best offering. They have a goal they hope to reach by the end of the week.

If you feel led to help them reach their goal, stop in at the church this week and see the office staff or contact Adele.

Day One of VBS is in the books. We welcomed 154 children from our community! Our message of the day was Jesus Is The Way.

Tomorrow is Pajama Day and we are collecting pennies for our mission.
