What a wild and exciting discovery this morning! 🦉
We discovered a baby Great Horned Owl outside the school today! Thankfully, the little guy was not hurt. We believe he may have been beginning his flying adventures and may have taken an unexpected detour to the ground. At one point, we even spotted momma owl watching closely from a nearby tree. ❤️
A huge thank you to Wisconsin DNR Warden Sickman for coming out to help reunite this baby with its mom. While we waited for help, everyone stayed away from the owl and we took extra precaution by blocking off the view of the window the little guys was outside of to help keep the baby calm and avoid spooking him. We are so thankful for the guidance and care that helped make this a safe and successful outcome for the owl. Nature gave us quite the memorable start to our day!

This week at BHP, we’ve been celebrating the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss! Our little learners enjoyed silly rhymes, colorful stories, fun dress-up days, and lots of giggles while exploring some of our favorite books. ❤️

Our BHP Olympics were a total hit! 🏅🔥

We kicked things off with a Torch Lighting Ceremony before our little athletes jumped into beach volleyball, horse races, medal-making, ice skating, curling, and the crowd-favorite — the hallway bobsled race! 🛷

Each class raced to win, then champions faced off to crown winners for the 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds. The cheers, teamwork, and excitement made it a day to remember! 💙✨
