Do the Priorities in your life that people SEE and the things you SAY are your priorities match?
For a long time I tried to convince people of my priorities not understanding why no one believed me. It was later that someone told me that to know someones heart the things and people that are important to them you should be able to see it. Simple they said if someone looked at your finances or your calender what do they see? If they facebook stalk you what do they see? If something or someone is important then it will show in the action of daily life.
Who or what gets the most of your time/money? Who or what dictates the decisions you make? Are you folding your kids cloths or cooking their meal or have you checked out? What or who do you invest in?
For a long time I was lieing to myself and others because it was the escape from reality and responsibility that was my priority not my kids, my husband, family, or God. But I came to a cross road and a decision had to be made I could continue being selfless and a lier or I could put my big girl pants on ask for forgiveness and take the next step to change. I had a dream, I wanted my life to show my prioritys above all else. I wanted to be the one people could count on to show up. I wanted to be the one people could count on. Today my life shows what is important to me. It didn't happen over night and it wasn't easy. But when I let God take over and I weight every else according to His word my actions changed, my priorities changed, and the way I did life changed. What priorities do your actions show?
