Pastor Doug McMunn served communion “Drive through” style as the church still is without power. Dennis Ferguson represented the garden team offering fresh produce. Thanks to the Safe and Secure team members who assisted and Becky Niblock for preparing communion elements.

Good morning Howell friends. The church is still without power so there are no worship services this morning. Pastor Doug will be at the church offering “drive through” communion at 10:30 am. We miss seeing all of you! Have a good day!

‼️Important information regarding Sunday services, 9/6/26‼️

Drive-through Holy Communion service on September 6: As of Saturday morning, there is no electrical service to our church building at first United Methodist Church in Howell. If it remains that way on Sunday morning, we will not have our usual Sunday worship services. Instead, we will offer drive-through Holy Communion services at the usual times, 8 AM, 9 AM, and 10:30 AM. Please drive slowly as you approach the building. Pastor Doug plans to serve us as we sit in our cars, taking turns in the circle driveway near Bower Street at the front of the church. If electrical service has been restored by Sunday morning, you may proceed into the main parking area as usual to attend Services at the usual times.

If you have a joy or prayer concern to share, we invite you to write it on any piece of paper and hand it to Pastor Doug. We pray for God's grace upon all who have suffered storm damage, and those struggling with the power outage. God be with you and with those who are working on the restoration of electrical service.

Please join us at 8am Saturday, September 5 for a Sweep the Parking Lot Party! Bring your rake, bring your broom or even bring doughnuts, and help clear the debris from the parking lot.

We appreciate the efforts of cleaning up after the storm.

The church is currently without power, which includes phones. We have limited access to email. There is no estimated restoration time yet. All meetings and studies are cancelled. We will post if/when we hear about exercise classes this evening.

Our prayers are with all those without power, and experiencing storm damage. Please stay safe 🙏
