Wow. God is so good to us.

Today, take a moment to stop. Breathe. Realize what God has done for you.

Yesterday, in our Sunday Morning service, Pastor Lehman preached a powerful message on the Power of Forgiveness. When we truly realize all that Christ has done for us - creating, sustaining, redeeming, forgiving, and providing for us - it should transform the way we live our lives.

Bitterness destroys, but forgiveness brings healing and new life.

We had a ๐—™๐—”๐—ก๐—ง๐—”๐—ฆ๐—ง๐—œ๐—– first night of VBS and Parenting Playbook here at Mount Vernon Baptist Temple! We sang songs, made crafts, played games, built buildings (with marshmallows, of course!), and had a fantastic night!
The children had a blast, and the parents learned a lot!

Make sure to come back next week, and every Wednesday evening in June, for fun-filled nights of learning, growing, and building.
