How to Stand Firm in Uncertain Times:

When news headlines make the world feel chaotic, Daniel 11 offers a powerful reminder: God is Lord over all of history. From foretelling the sudden fall of Alexander the Great to the tyrannical reign of Antiochus IV Epiphanes, God declared the end from the beginning.

In this message, we unpack Daniel 11 to see how biblical prophecy isn't meant to feed our curiosity—it's meant to build our courage. Discover how knowing God gives you steel in your spine to stand firm, take action, and trust Jesus when the world feels unstable.

Why has our culture gone to war against the beauty of God's created order?

Drawing from his books, The Beauty of the Binary, and, Made to Be Glorious, Luke Griffo argues that the confusion surrounding masculinity, femininity, marriage, and even the LGBTQ movement cannot be understood apart from a broader rejection of objective beauty. If God created the world and declared it "very good," then beauty isn't merely a matter of personal preference—it's woven into creation itself.

Rather than simply critiquing modern culture, this conversation presents a compelling biblical vision of what it means to flourish as men and women made in God's image. Kevin and Luke discuss why boundaries create beauty rather than diminish it, why Christians must recover a joyful appreciation for God's design, and how the Church can engage those struggling with gender identity in both truth and compassion.

Whether you're wrestling with today's debates over gender, raising children in an increasingly confused culture, or looking for a deeper Christian understanding of beauty, creation, and identity, this episode offers a refreshing perspective rooted in Scripture.

“He who wins souls is wise.” — Proverbs 11:30

Everyone is talking about strength, leadership, discipline, and courage. Scripture certainly honors those virtues.

But biblical wisdom reminds us that one of the greatest uses of masculine strength is the rescue of souls.

As Ryan Denton writes in A Student’s Guide to Evangelism:

“To win in this context means something like grabbing hold of or rescuing… The wise person is the one who captures people for Christ.”

He continues:

“It isn’t about beating others; it’s about seizing them from danger… It means to rescue souls from destruction. It means converting them to God.”

May God make us men and women who love people enough to speak the truth, plead with sinners to be reconciled to God, and faithfully throw lifelines to those who are perishing.

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.” — Proverbs 11:30 (LSB)

We have a bonus episode for you today. You will not want to miss:

He used to stand outside a Vancouver nightclub luring people in from the street.

Now he stands on the same block handing out gospel tracts.

Same corner. Same guy. Completely different mission.

Bashar Muchi’s story is a remarkable testimony of God's grace — Chaldean roots in Iraq (modern day Babylon), fleeing the Saddam regime through the mountains, arriving in Canada with no English, and slowly descending into the drug trade and addiction before God’s grace found him in the back row of a little church gathering in Richmond, BC.

He never gets tired of telling what God has done. You won’t get tired of hearing it.
