“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” — Proverbs 28:13

đź’­ Thought-Provoking Question

What am I trying to hide, excuse, or explain away that God is asking me to confess—and finally let go of?

Sometimes repentance isn’t about discovering something new. It’s about finally being honest about what we already know.

🙏🏾 Short Prayer

Lord, give me the courage to be honest with You and with myself. Reveal the things I have been hiding, excusing, or holding onto, and help me confess them, release them, and walk differently. Thank You for Your mercy and the opportunity to begin again. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

đź’­ Thought-Provoking Prompt

If God sent a fresh wind into my life today, what area would I most need Him to change—and am I prepared for what that change might require of me?

But here’s the deeper question:

Am I asking God to change my circumstances when He may be trying to change ME?

🙏🏾 Prayer

Lord, send a fresh wind into our lives. Breathe new life into the places that have become tired, stagnant, discouraged, or comfortable. Blow through our faith, families, purpose, relationships, and every area that needs Your presence.

And when You move, give us the courage to recognize it and the obedience to move with You. Revive what has grown weary, awaken what has gone dormant, and prepare us for what comes next. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”
— Acts 3:19

đź’­ THOUGHT-PROVOKING PROMPT

What am I asking God to refresh in my life that I have not yet been willing to repent of or change?

We say:

“Lord, refresh me.”
“Lord, revive me.”
“Lord, restore me.”

But Acts 3:19 connects refreshing with repentance.

Don’t just feel convicted. Do something different.
If yesterday’s worship was powerful, don’t let the feeling end when the service ended.

🙏🏾 PRAYER

Lord, thank You for the fresh wind moments we were reminded of yesterday that You give us. But today, help us understand that revival requires more than a powerful experience—it requires a willing heart. Show us what we need to repent from, what to release, and what to change. Give us the strength to do the work You are calling us to do. Let yesterday’s worship produce today’s transformation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Tonight, Christian Education returns! We’re excited to welcome Sis. Kaye Sutton as she leads us back into learning, growing, and building together.

And tomorrow, our Pastor is back in the pulpit after a WELL DESERVED sabbatical! He is beyond excited to see us all!

What did I used to do when my relationship with God was stronger that I have gradually stopped doing?

Prayer:

Lord, help me remember what it felt like to walk closely with You. Show me where I have drifted, and give me the courage to return—not just in words, but in my actions. Restore in me the desire to seek You first. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Word reminds us that revival requires honesty before God.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9

Today’s question:
What sin or wrong choice do I need to confess and turn away from today?

Don’t hide it. Don’t justify it. Confess it. Surrender it. Turn from it. God isn’t asking you to pretend you’re perfect. He’s asking you to come back to Him.
